For those of you who do not know what that means: A Beta is like a prototype or test-site. It was originally created to allow Emperor Shadow and Supreme Prophet Praxeum the place to fiddle around with the phpbb3 format and ACP. Our Emperor has asked that we transfer important posts to this Beta Site. To allow a "test period" for such a new site. Is it possible to have old posts staying at the rank the person was when s/he wrote it? For example I was reading the 'Outcasts' roleplay and Lord Legacy was telling Darth Celestial that he could not cloak himself as a mere apprentice, yet Celestial was a Sith Master. Do you see what I mean?
Also, I love the Imperial Conquest roleplays. You have to put me in one of those

Here's how to look at it:
Shadow became Emperor and got bored with Kroprulu being so far in the Outer-Rim. Troops get in ships, capital moved to Shadow's home planet, everyone's happy.
Kroprulu now has a symbolic seat of power and still houses important government offices, but is not the capital. |

The beta forum has been a good transition of many of the threads currently important here, on tDSL. My one recommendation before finally making the jump to a new forum completely would be to better proofread all postings to make sure they are up to date, concise, and do not create questions for new users.
The important thing to remember is that people will be approaching a forum with nearly three years of history as complete strangers since the reference threads, etc. will be here and not there. A clearer timeline like the one we have been developing and perhaps a narrative history would be helpful. I see no real board design flaws. I would question the need for so many roleplay forums, but it is my understanding that this has already been discussed. I would remove at least two. There has been plenty of healthy discussion on the beta, I believe people find it agreeable and whenever the final jump is made, the transition will be all the more pleasant. Additionally, Darths Seti, Marix and Prognie seem to be enjoying a spitting contest in your name, Shadow. I would choose your friends very, very carefully from this group. |

I first made it so that Shadow and Praxeum could fiddle and try out phpBB3, and then it was chosen as our Beta. So the domain will not be Dark-Flame unless something comes up and we stay at the Beta... |

I'm still living with my parents and so it was more or less like I never even had the money. I still have a portion of my original advances and I'm still making royalties, I'm okay.
