Lord Aequitas

The End of an Order

Aequitas had just pulled up outside the Church of the Dark Side Capital Chapter and jumped out of his speeder. Running into the Church, he took the many staircases up to the last floor where his office was and the small corridor where the office of the Supreme Prophet was. A guard was outside. "Guard, I relieve you of your duty. Get out of my way, I need to speak to the Supreme Prophet now." The guard looked strangely at the High Prophet before nodding and leaving. Not bothering to knock, Aequitas just walked into Lord Praxeums office. "We need to speak. Now."
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

The Supreme Prophet had sensed the approach of his High Prophet, a tempest of emotions, once his speeder headed on its way here. The Dark Lord of the Sith spent countless moments attempting to reach out through the Force and see what was troubling Aequitas, without him sensing Praxeum's searching. He had yet to discover why the High Prophet was acting this way when he reached the building, and it took him until Aequitas was nearly to his office to reach out far enough to see what was wrong. He had just enough time to send a tight-beam message to the Dark Saber, showing the message was for his fellow Dark Lord, Prognie. As Aequitas stormed down the hall into Praxeum's office, the Supreme Prophet clipped his lightsaber, his former apprentice's lightsaber, to his belt and stood from his chair.

When Aequitas burst through the door, Praxeum turned from the bookshelf he was looking at, pretending to be surprised by also show the High Prophet that he had already sensed him - hoping to make this seem as real as possible. When he heard the High Prophet say, "We need to speak. Now." A warm flash coursed through Praxeum's body, though he was skilled enough to now show it. He thought of proper excuses to use to throw off the High Prophet's suspicions, anything to get him off of his back. Then the words of the Grand Inquisitor struck Praxeum, that Praxeum would not be able to sacrifice the High Prophet. That he was weak. That instantly changed Praxeum's perspective of the situation.

"I am busy." Was all the explanation Praxeum would give.
Lord Aequitas

Aequitas scoffed. "Busy? You're not busy. I know your schedule." He stopped himself. "Stap", he said in a gentle tone, "I'm worried about you. You've been acting strangely. You say you're always busy yet I have rumours you sit in this office. I know what you are thinking about; who you are thinking about. Friend, you know why I'm here, don't you." He stopped. He had to try to hold back his emotions but he knew it would be no use. The expert at holding back emotions was undoubtedly Praxeum and Aequitas knew he'd be able to see through any attempt Aequitas made. He put the account paper on the desk. "These 3 chapters have requested credits for improvemnets. I haven't been there, but I don't believe it. These 3 worlds have also been discussed in the Moff Council because they need re-inforcements for the amount of riots they've been having." Aequitas sighed before taking out one last piece of paper. "This is a request for improvements for the Naboo Chapter. They never requested improvements." Aequitas sighed. "You know that I'm Head of the Naboo Chapter because I'm the Church's head Librarian. Only a Dark Lord or Lady holds the request papers; you have to ask one for them. I don't hold any. The only Dark Lord near Naboo lately has been Prognie; who you have been speaking with lately."

Aequitas put his hands on his hips, accidently showing his lightsaber. Aequitas was famous for never carrying his lightsaber unless absolutley necessary so this was very odd. He looked at the Supreme Prophet. "What's going on."
Supreme Prophet Praxeum

Praxeum's mind was drawing blanks, it seemed that all of the excuses he could have used on Aequitas, he had used at some point. A chill went down his back as he thought, Then it is time. Praxeum could only hope to make the High Prophet leave on his own accord. "Don't burden yourself with these secrets of scary people." The Supreme Prophet said as he walked away from Aequitas, to a nearby bookshelf. "Please, leave."
Lord Aequitas

Aequitas looked at his feet before looking back up at the Supreme Prophet. "Very well. Stap, you are one of my closest friends. You are like a brother to me. Where you go, I go. I would follow you to death. But, keeping secrets from me", he stopped for a second, "it's not normal of you. Friend, I will leave. I will return. Remember though, I am only a force message away." He left the office and closed the door behind him before wiping some tears from his eyes.
