It is like the one SW book I haven't read (bar new books still not in paperback (Dark Lord, Outrbound Flight, grr)) that hasn't been horribly sworn at.
Is it any good? What is the main plot, (No spoilers of course.)

A bomb explodes in the Senate. Borsk wants Leia out. Leia doesn't want to go. Luke goes to find person responsible. Ackbar and Han run around some. Luke finds person responsible. Stuff blows up. Senate likes Leia again. Han's no longer accused of causing bomb that kills a lot of Senators. Bad guy dies. All live happily ever after.

I DID say without spoilers.

Trust me, that's the basic outline of ANY book. Nothing much is spoiled.

U said the outcome, how much spoilage can there be? I just wanted the plot, not the story line.
|
Emperor Shadow
|
Lol, that is the plot! Trust me... next to nothing is spoiled.

Darth Acheron

Ok. You don't understand. You told me what happens in the end, practically spoiling it for me. What I wanted is like what the blurb does, for lack of a better word, just telling you their challeneges, not saying if they solve it or not.

You know that Luke, Han, or Leia ALWAYS solves the problems in these books. I found this book mildly interesting because of the backdrop of the Smuggler's Run and the different Skips there. They also brought back several characters from Han's past.

I know, I would have ratherted he just say somthing like:
A Bomb explodes in the senate, and Leia is on the verge of being booted out, Luke, han and Ackbar try to solve the mystery while all the time Han is being accused of being the perpertrator!

Well, the entire plot was fairly weak. The only cool thing was that the bad guy used the Force to drain the lives off of everyone on a planet.

Why must it be that the bad guy is defeated at the end of each:Book, T.V. episode, and comic that I have read?
|
Darth Acheron
|
Because the Good Guys are the good guys... lol, and no one wants to see the Good guys, who have rerally developed characters die. This has been proven by Sherlock Holmes, who was killed off, but was brought back because the fans were outraged.

well ROTS is a diffent story

Not really. The Sith do win, against the Jedi, and the Empire does win against the Republic; but Anakin looses to himself, and Luke and Leia are delivered to their respective homes, seeding the seeds of triumph.
