I have been away from the Empire for quite sometime, debating whether or not I should return to the Empire. After long hours of thought, I decided to go back and face my brethren. It all came down to this moment. I have heard that my hermitage has taken a toll on the Order of the Inquisitors and has changed since my absence. A young Inquisitor by the name of Gra'tua has taken my seat as High Inquisitor, but I cannot blame him. And after all, the Grand Inquisitor, cannot let the Order fall into chaos. I am the one at fault here. I have been demoted, kicked aside, and forgotten due to my prolonged absence as the High Inquisitor because of what I have done. Will the Order forgive me? Will the Empire forgive me?

I was accepted back into the Order but demoted down to a Junior Inquisitor. I wonder what the rest of the Empire thinks of my return. Anger? Hatred? Joy? Only the future will tell. Few members of the Empire have welcomed me back with happiness. Others have just continued to live on as if nothing had ever happened.
It seems that Grand Inquisitor Prognie is next in-line to become the new Emperor. Maybe I will retain my old title as High Inquisitor. Anyways, Prognie deserves it. He has shown devotion to the Empire since he was just an apprentice. My apprentice. He has surpassed me in many things, as well as reaching the Head of an Order in a short amount of time. Something that I could've done if I hadn't left the Empire.
