Major General Celestial
(That is a very good answer. Now, I am geussing by now you know what IC is, so I will start off.)
Celestial sat in his chambers as usual until 0:600, when he went to the training grounds to meet his new apprentice. He was supposed to already had some training in the force, and maybe this would be another good apprenitce just like the souless one, known as Darth Crozeus.
He sat down in the large room provided for masters and sat meditating.
Kindrid Nokah
Although Kindrid knew the Force, he still had trouble understanding everything about it. He could sense his master, Darth Celestial, in the building in front of him so he continued forward. As he opened the door and stepped into a very large room, darkness engulfed his entire body. He exhaled slowly at the sheer power and dark side energy in the room that he occupied and he closed his eyes. This is what he wanted; to be able to harness this power and make it his own. A moment later, he could sense his master in the room with him. He opened his eyes and put his head down as he walked over to Darth Celestial. When he was just a few feet away, Kindrid halted before his master and stood waiting.
Major General Celestial
The glaring eyes of Celestial stared down the apprentice as he stooped in front of him. His eyes were bent down looking at the floor, trying to avoid his master's.
"Hello, my apprentice. My name is Celestial, you may call me master or Darth. You may speak if you wish."
Kindrid Nokah
Kindrid brought his gaze up to meet his master's and he stared, unblinking. There was a calm, easiness about him though he couldn't tell what it was. "I was taught respect from birth and I won't stop now, Master Celestial. What shall you have me do?" The words rolled off of his tongue smoothly as he spoke them with a quiet voice.
Major General Celestial
Celestial was surprised by the courtesy the apprentice shown. Most of his past apprentices were rambunxious and arrogant.
"I will do things a little different this time. To show me the extent of your force capabilities, I want you to perform all of your force powers you listed to the best of your ability."
A large dummy ascended from the floor to stand in the middle of the room for him.
Kindrid Nokah
Kindrid nodded at his master and turned his eyes to the dummy. He brought his right hand upwards and placed the palm of his hand towards the dummy. His thumb twitched and then a faint blue aura seemed to shoot out of his palm straight at the dummy. The dummy's entire body was moved by the Force and the limbs swung back and forth until it slowly came to a stop.
Kindrid, with his palm still facing the dummy, twitched his thumb again except only this time, the dummy was pulled towards him. He let out a small smile for a second then let the dummy return back to it's original spot once more.
He had just completed Force push and pull so now it was time for Force throw. It was a bit more complicated than the other two, but it implied the same concept. He balled up his hand into a fist while still focusing on the lifeless form in front of him and concentrated. He began to move his hand to the left and right and the dummy seemed to follow along with the motions. He stopped for a second then jerked his hand to the left, causing the dummy to be ripped from the metal bar that held it together. His eyes widened then he immediately opened his hand to free the dummy from his grasp, astonished at what he had done.
Major General Celestial
Celestial appluaded the man for what he had done. He had just successfully tore an actual thing from the root of its power using a simple move such as force throw.
"That was very good, and I see nothing wrong with the technique. Yet, I did see something wrong, You smiled, sith show no emotion but passion."
His expressionless face looked over the boy one more time.
"I want you to write a 500 word essay on the importance of the sith code and what every sentence means. A datapad is on my desk."
Kindrid Nokah
Kindrid raised his head and looked at his master, confused. "Excuse me for speaking out of line, master, but from what I've read in the holorecords, passion is not the only emotion that the Sith show. We can show many emotions, not just one. I meant no disrespect, Master Celestial." He continued to hold his ground and kept his gaze focused on his master, hoping that he wouldn't be punished for this.
Major General Celestial
Celestial stood in awe at the apprentice.
"You miss the point my apprentice, a sith must show nothing, and make their opponent show their emotions and then a sith may win a battle.
Kindrid Nokah
"Yes, Master Celestial." Kindrid bowed his head in respect and then turned his head to the desk. He looked at his master and he nodded, giving him permission to go over to the desk. Kindrid walked hastily to retrieve the datapad and stopped at the foot of the desk. He sat down at the desk and began studying the datapad. In only a few minutes Kindrid was done with his assignment then he walked back to his master, who had been waiting patiently, and handed his his own datapad with his essay imprinted on it.
The datapad read:
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. The first line of the Sith Code states that peace does not exist and I agree. Peace, or what some people refer to as peace, does not exist. It can never exist. Only temporary agreements exist, fueled by passion. Through passion, I gain strength. The second line means that by being fueled by our passion, we will gain strength. Being passionate about something is what gives us our strength. Through strength, I gain power. By gaining strength, we also gain power. I think that this is the simplest line of the Sith Code. Through power, I gain victory. By harnessing our power and focusing it against our enemies, we will gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. My interpretation of this line is very simple. Our chains represent our limits, or boundaries, that we've broken down to get to where we are now. And finally, the Force shall free me. This means that finally after all of our hard work and devotion, the Force will let us attain the unattainable."
Major General Celestial
Celestial threw the pad back onto his desk. He straed back at his apprentice with gusto.
"My apprentice, that was very good. I had never heard the chians put in an analogy like that. Now, it is time for a duel, and i shall go organize it at once."
Celestial quickly headed to the door and down the hallway to the apprentice chambers.
(I will find an opponent and post in the dojo, just keep a watch out.)
Kindrid Nokah
Kindrid, while remaining expressionless, nodded in response without hesitation and hastily followed his master to the chambers. This would be his first duel with another Sith and would definitely test his skill with both the saber and the Force.
((Will you also set up the rules or will I have to?))
Major General Celestial
(I will.)
Kindrid Nokah
((I don't mean to sound impatient, Master Celestial, but have you found an opponent for me to duel? It's been five days. Again, I do apologize.))
Major General Celestial
(Oh, that is my bad. I will find someone immediately.)
Major General Celestial
Darth Celestial stared at his apprentice after both of them returned from the heavy fight with Prophet Crozeus. The apprentice had faught valiantly, for a beginner, but there was still need for improvement for the apprentice, and his next lesson on the matter was soon coming up.
"You have demonstrated that you know how to use a lightsaber proficiently, and you know how to handle the force with more care than most. I should tell you though, you should never underestimate your opponents abilities in a battle, especially one as strong as Darth Crozeus. The weak force shield you use out there was foolish when comparing how strong Crozeus was to that method. You always have to think things through."
Celestial tip-toed around the small room, tgrying to think of the greatest thing he could do for both he and his apprentice. It would have to be crafty, and hard to follow; it had to be a test of new skill.
"You and I will gp on a mission, to a cave on Korriban. There we will test your skills, and I will be there to help if things should get to hard. Any questions?"
Kindrid Nokah
Kindrid lowered his head. He had let his master down. He had tried to summon a strong enough Force barrier, but it was only sub-par. Of course, he had actually used the barrier to help himself in the duel, but to others, it seemed foolish. Kindrid did not understand this, but he would never tell Darth Celestial that. It was disrespectful.
"Master Celestial, what will the mission be for? I mean, besides to test my skills." Nokah was curious as to why they were heading to Korriban. Maybe it was a trap, to see how long he could last on the harsh, desolate planet. Or maybe it wasn't. Only time would tell and Kindrid would be ready for anything and everything.
Major General Celestial
Celestial smiled at his apprentice.
"That is a surprise."
Celestial turned away and motioned for his apprentice to come. He exited the door and headed to his ship in the hangar.
