The timeline seems to be a little out of date. For instance, Saber is still Empress(or at least appears to be) at the time when Shadow dies. I'm wondering if an entirely new timeline is in the works, or what is going on.

There is a Special Committee working on that, as well as the Games and Canon Council, and the High Council working to create a new timeline.

Double post I know, but I just want to clear something up before I do it
Because an appenticeship lasts 7-12 years IC, OOC'ly this is impossible to do. As such, dates involving apprenticeships on the timeline may not correspond to or even run in a chronological order to the dates in real life.
