Did you come here from sw.com? if so, post your screen name from there so we will get to know each other on that site as well, if some of you even visit there anymore. Very Happy I haven't gone there in months, but I just went there, and its so dull compared to here, but hey, andyway:

I am AnAkInSoLo or however Anakin is spelt.

I'm Jedi Knight Kasey *shudders*.

I signed up there before this board even existed so yeah, lol. And *pouts* I want Hyperspace so very badly, but my mom refuses to do anything that might encourage my obsession over SW, lol.

And I too, haven't been there for like ever. I'm too busy being on these forums, lol. But that's where I even heard about this site-on SW.com.

Lol, yeah, I remember, your like our only true conversion, everyone else has kind of faded away or gone back.

I got Hyperspace because I'm paying, and its my money, and its only twenty bucks a year, Very Happy. My Mum encourages anyhthing I like, so your mum should just be told that. That its your money, so you should do what you want, its barely anything per year, and why can't she encourage you with things you like?

Yeah, forty bucks. But I'd be more than ready to pay for it out of my own pocket. It's not that much anyways. I buy my own Star Wars stuff anyway, so it wouldn't be any different. But like I said, my mom doesn't want to encourage me with the Star Wars thing.

And the reason why she doesn't want to encourage me with that, is because she hates Star Wars herself. She thinks that because I'm a girl I shouldn't get so into that kind of movie. *rolls eyes*

But one thing she semi-encourages that has to do with Star Wars is the books. Sometimes she'll buy me SW books because I actually read them, lol. I was never a big reader until now, so she likes that. She just doesn't like what I'm reading. But as long as I'm reading, I guess she's ok with it, lol.

You could be reading alot worse than Star Wars. Anything by Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Survivor...etc) tends to be graphically perverse. Stephen King is also a fairly graphic author when it comes to violence. Rolling Eyes If ever you wanted to make Star Wars seem suddenly more appealing, you could always try reading some of those novels before her...

No, it's not like that. When I said she doesn't like what I'm reading, I didn't mean graphic/violent wise, I meant she just hates Star Wars. But, violence might have a part to do with it. I'm trying to get her to read Heir to the Empire Yet, I'm not succeeding.

Anyways, does anyone know if an admin/mod will change your name for you if you ask?

Yeah, looks like most cannot escape their former Jedi-ish titles.
Although, in my case, it isn't so bad. 'Master Asmodeus' works either way.

I have been devoted to the Dark Side since 1977, and was Lord Scourge since before I signed up at starwars.com - but yes, I was involved in some of the conversations on the forums there that resulted in the creation of this board. I have also been awfully busy on this board that while I still take advantage of other parts of hyperspace, I don't spend much time on the sw.com forums any more.

I pay US rates for hyperspace, but it's not uncommon for me to spend $40 in a month on Star Wars anyhow, and my renewal is the same month as my birthday, so it either ends up being someone's present to me that year, or I get enough other SW toys as presents, that it's the only money I end up spending on SW myself that month... Well, to write blogs you need Hyperspace, which is 40 bucks a year American, and to post comments, just go to a forum, and click the reply button.

Since Im AnakinSolo there, it was never much of a Jedi name, though way back when you could change your name, I changed it in the lead-up to ROTS to Darth Minious, then changed it back when the announcment came through that soon you wouldn't be able to change your name.

Vergere asks Jacen Solo if he is a flower or a weed in the garden of life and tells him he is the gardener who must choose weeds and flowers from his life.
