Heh, I would never hurt a precious book in such a way. Though I would very much like to take a picture of a certain page and upload it for anyone who reads the Legacy comics. Lumiya (on page 254) makes an allusion to the Sith on Korrbian. _________________

Well, to sum it up:
Lumiya and Alema are talking (making preperations for a duel with Luke and Mara) and Lumiya is basically saying: "I'm not the only Sith out there, so who cares if I die? Jacen will make his sacrafice under the instrution of another."
So, that leads one to believe Krayt and the Sith are already active from Korrbian and not hiding as the comics would have us believe at this time. _________________

Sure, but look at it this way:
Both are called Legacy.
Both are Sith "firsts."
With Lumiya and Aurra Sing both hailing from comic origins, it could be possible there is a bigger picture than just the novels in this case. _________________

I don't notice Legacy comics and books outright contradicting each other - then again, I haven't read Tempest yet - keep in mind that the comics are roughly 140 ABY and the current novels are 37-38 ABY - a lot can happen in that century.

This could be interpreted in different ways. Perhaps she only wants Jacen to end up on Korriban to speak with the deceased Lords from a millenia past. More likely that there are some Sith active, but I'd say these would have to be the group Krayt, et al. are descendants of... and not Krayt specifically.
Anyhow, it was a great read. Does this thread have the normal spoiler warnings... or is more detailed discussion to be kept until a later date? _________________ Dark Patron: Joruus C'Baoth.

Krayt was on Korribian 30 years before the Vong invasion. Krayt founded the New Sith Order.
I do not believe the captain of the GAG would be seen on Korribian, especially being a Jedi Knight. Do you? _________________

Jacen has the power to sneak off to Korriban if he was motivated enough. While his intentions are focussed on his GAG duties at the moment, doesn't mean they couldn't be shifted elsewhere by Lumiya or Alema, or possibly some other agent of the Sith. _________________ Dark Patron: Joruus C'Baoth.

Krayt is human. He simply goes into an implied hibernation.
I imagine if Lumiya is dead, preperations have been made by a cult of Sith (not necessairly Korriban) to continue Jacen's training by going to him. _________________

It is a big if. Given that Lumiya and Aurra have been brought back, I wonder who they'd choose to follow this up. Personally I'd like to see Ventress come back, even if she is just an old woman leading a group of equally feral Dark Siders.
But, honestly, I am much more concerned with what will happen between Jacen and his parents. I didn't expect him to make the choices he did in Tempest, and was shocked by the ending. _________________ Dark Patron: Joruus C'Baoth.

Read Tempest, know that armour that Luke tells Ben to remove? Synthetic Vonduun crab armour, that's not my only piece of evidence, I'm no fool, I wont form a theory off one piece of evidence.
I have long thought that Jacen may be the tutor of Krayt, now Krayt says that his order started during 30ABY, but we only have his word, Ben is described as being able to lie like a master, even Jacen cannot tell when he is telling the truth.
And whoever said that Krayt started the order? he could have taken it over somehow. I personally think that Lumiya and the original Darth Wyyrlok (who I now believe to be Vergere) formed the original on Korriban, sometime during 30ABY, we now know that Lumiya and Vergere looked at many possible apprentices including all of the Skywalkers, Force sensitive Solos and Kyp Durron (and many others no doubt) so therefore we know that Lumiya was the first to break from the Rule of Two, if Lumiya transferred her beliefs over to Jace, he would probably give this to Ben; who as Krayt abolishes it. _________________ Under the Dark Patronage of Vergere

To me, however, this book was very bad. Contradictions everywhere, though still better than Bloodlines, no where near as good as Betrayal though. _________________ Love is more than a candle, love can ignite the stars.

There are many interesting points to that theory, but also several things wrong.
Cade Skywalker also acknowledges the Sith on Korriban's presence to be 30 ABY. Impossible for Ben because he would have been three or so.
The Sith Order had to have time to build from the generally-accepted 30. Timewise, by the time 127 rolled around, Ben would have been around a hundred years old. Fine and dandy, but we know from Krayt's right hand that he is far older than that.
Also, this is the same sort of thing that Harry Potter fans do trying to equate Voldermort to Harry's grandfather, or Dumbledore is his uncle, etc. It just doesn't make sense. I like to believe that because the rest of the Sith are new, that in this case "Legacy" applies to Lumiya's involvement as indicated by Tempest.
Vergere: By her own truthful admission, she was neither a Sith or Jedi. She went so far as to condemn both views, following a larger view. Palpatine says you must embrace a larger view, but he was working to convert Anakin. Vergere is likely to have believed her own philosophy, thereby making it unlikely she would ever become a Sith. She may have aided Lumiya with preperations on Korriban if and only if they would benefit Jacen.
