The Order of the Royal Guard's primary function is protection.  We protect the Imperial Facilities around the universe, many of whom are often high-profile targets for Jedi insurrection and other rebellious factions.  The most trusted and ready Guardsmen defend the Emperor, his family, and other high-profile personnel. A less public purpose is to occasionally do some secretive work for the Emperor personally, which I cannot reveal much about. Any more questions? _________________

Sovereign Defender Tarna Dark Lord of the Sith Joined: 27 Jun 2006 Posts: 2754 Location: Kuat or Bastion All training takes place here on Kuat.  When training is complete, officers are sent by shuttle to their new stations. In time of war, we would obviously boost our security measures.  Tighter security, heavier manpower, things like that.  As for the battlefield, some officers may be deployed but I find that highly unlikely unless the situation called for it. _________________
