Yes. I said his examples were stupid. I didn't say that he himself, nor his thoughts or opinions, or anything directly related to him were stupid. I said that his examples were stupid. So unless you were concerned for the examples' feelings, I doubt that this qualifies for name-calling. Whether or not you entered the debate after this so-called "name-calling", you did not enter to chastise me for using the words stupid. You entered to state your beliefs on the issue. Not only that but you entered the debate, wait for it...

I was comparing Samuel to my nine-year-old sister in that my sister simply ignores what I say when I'm arguing with her and I felt that Samuel was doing the same.

I was very insulted by the way you spoke to me in the prior post. It made me feel as if you thought I was, as I put it "some sort of idiot from a backwater country where human rights abuses are common". The way you worded made it sound as if you thought that I thought it was okay to withold food and water from people, which I simply don't.

Yes, due to the fact that you seemed to have confused (or deliberately overlooked one of) the terms "current" and "original, I was mistaken in believing that you had a less-than-standard grasp of English. I was not attempting to insult you, I was stating what seemed apparent to me.

That is not the real issue. The real issue is that while the rest of us were debating on the death penalty, you chose to attack first my idea, while ignoring that fact that I pointed out that I wasn't going against the law, then my original idea, which had since transgressed into my current idea and ignoring my pointing that out, then my consistency, by altering my words and putting words in my mouth A FACT THAT YOU CONTINUE TO REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE.
You then attacked my manners, which has apparently been your secret intention for a week, because I consistently called you out on your blatant altering of my words and putting words in my mouth. You changed the subject to shift attention away from your deliberate subterfuge. And I for one am insulted that you challenged my consistency, my manners and my very morality when you must change what I say, ignore what I say, even say what I say and then change the subject when I point out, just to keep your own argument going.
