Storms Over Cloud City

[This roleplay takes place in cloud city where a rag tag force of rebels has been found it will be sith against squads of rebels each squad is led by a jedi. Anyone can join]

[Anyone may join though I was hoping that only apprentices would join. Make sure that it sticks to the main plot which is eliminating the small Jedi forces and finding the source of the uprising and bringing the information to me.]

Inquisitor Thrax sat aboard the Inevitable Reign and tapped his armrest. He looked at Bespin through the glass with dark, cold eyes and stood up. He turned around towards the small Sith force that they would need to crush the uprising and he glared. In the corner of his eye, he noticed his apprentice standing in the shadows and could sense the readiness for this fight. This would be his first mission, but it surely wouldn't be his last. He still had many, many years left in him to prove his worth and this mission would help him show it.

Lucius Black

((Let's just assume for this RP that Lucius is farther along in his training than he actually is.))

Lucius Black remained dead silent as a group of rebels passed over the drainage gate he'd managed to wriggle into. The sweat was beading from his head and he could only hope that no voices rang through the comlink connected to his wrist. The Rebels had been hunting him since his ship crashed into a spaceport in the floating city. He'd been shot down by rebels and they'd been on his tail every step of the way. Fighting them along would have been suicide. The numbers would have overwhelmed him, but Lucius managed to shake them off in an apartment in the heart of the city. Now here was, waiting for them to leave the area in a drainage tunnel.

Once he was sure they were gone, Lucius Black rushed deeper into the dark, smelly tunnel and pulled the comlink up to his face. "This is Black," he conveyed desperately. "I'm broadcasting on all friendly channels. Rebels have taken over Cloud City. There may be Jedi with them, but I... I'm not sure. I need assistance. Repeat, Rebels have taken over the...." Lucius turned off the comlink and stood perfectly still. He had heard footsteps farther into the tunnel, they were getting closer.

Thrax glared at Iyezo and paced before the troops. "As you can already hear", Thrax nodded towards the broadcasting station, "Lucius is already inside the city and he needs assistance." Thrax pointed at the troops and said, "I want every one of you to group up in three's and head into different sections of the city."

Thrax headed through the blast door with Iyezo at his side and dozen's of troops behind him. They entered the main hangar bay after heading down a few narrow hallways and the men began to pair up. "Iyezo, I want you to look for Lucius as soon as you land. Get moving." The young Sith nodded and got into a small fighter with two other men. Thrax headed to The Pride of Iridonia and got settled in. He turned on his comlink and began to speak harshly. "Men, we must stop this uprising. Bespin will not be taken over by these Jedi scum or anyone else for that matter. Alpha and Beta Squads will head to the East and hold there. Delta and Omega Squads will head to the West and hold there also. Once my apprentice, Iyezo, receives word from Lucius, he will head to his position and join up with Alpha Squad in the East sector."

Thrax fired up his Patrol Fighter and soon heard the same from the other fighters. He lifted into the air and flew out into the silent dark vastnes of space. He saw the groups get into their formations and they began to call out coordinates to eachother. This wouldn't be as easy as they thought it would be.

As Iyezo entered Bespins atmospere he radioed in to Thrax "Brother I'm experiencing difficulties with my ships controls," he could here the chatter of other pilots having the same problems. He tried flipping a few switches but nothing seemed to help. " We're going to have to land quickly."

"I noticed it too, Iyezo." Thrax said over the channel. After a few moments of flicking switches and pressing buttons, the beeping started to slow down and eventually die off. He could hear the sigh of relief as the other soldiers also got their ships working normally. He maintained calm as he slowly descended on an old landing pad on the outskirts of the city. No shots were being fired and no sirens were going off so this was a good sign. He unstrapped himself out of the seat and got out of his ship, silently.

"Master Thrax, this is Alpha Squad. We are on the ground with no signs of hostiles around. Shall we proceed with the mission?" "Yes, but proceed with caution. All comlinks will be shut off for the duration of the mission until we find Lucius and/or if you are in need of assistance. Until then I want this channel clear. Also, Prophet Odin will be grouping up with Beta Squad and Master Nighthawk will assist Delta Squad. Beta Squad, your new assignment is to find out what exactly happened when our ships began to malfunction. Delta Squad, you will assist Master Nighthawk in her mission to find a detour into Cloud City. They will be on ground shortly. Good luck to you all."

Vala was in her ship heading to Cloud City. She was thinking about the best place to get in unnoticed. It seemed the best place would be between levels 221 and 280, where factories were located.

Her ship was in stealth mode and she had her force presence hidden like she did on most missions.

Lucius Black

Lucius awoke to a searing pain in his skull. Something had cracked it, of that he was sure. What he wasn't sure about was his location. Everything was pitch black and his hands and feet had been bound. Any attempts to break the bindings were proving unsuccessful. Frustrated at his situation, Lucius meditated. He called out to other Sith in the vacinity to help him. He needed it.

[Is anyone else in alpha squad besides myself and Lucious?]

Iyezo had just landed on an outer, more so abandoned landing platform when he heard Lucious's need for assistance. Iyezo could tell that he was deep in the center of the city.

"Lucious is in trouble," Iyezo said aloud. He reached out with the force scanning the near by perimisis for life forms that could prove to be a threat. None were found in the immediate area. Iyezo looked across the empty landscape of Cloud City, the reddish buildings high in the unique skyline, Iyezo began his search for Lucious.

Lucius Black

The lights in the room flickered on, interupting Lucius's meditation. It took his eyes a moment to adjust to the light. When they finally did, he could see the reality of his situation. Two rebels, dressed in rough military clothing and carrying blaster rifles had stepped into what appeared to be a reception area with him. One had darker skin and the other was a bit chubbier. They stepped around the center dip in the floor in loose conversation with each other. The chubby one first spoke with a self-assured tone of voice. "Look what we got here," he said to the other man. "Some Imperial scum. What do you think we 'ought to do with him?" The dark skinned man didn't seem so happy. "Stop fooling around, you oaf. You know what we need to do," he said.

Before the other man could speak back, Lucius lashed out at both of them with the Force, knocking their bodies limply across the far wall and relieving them of their duty. The two had been knocked unconscious. Out of nowhere, a large panel of what was previously thought to be the wall lifted and folded into the ceiling, revealing a window overlooking Cloud City. Lucius assumed one of the rebels' bodies had hit the switch for it. They were keeping him high up in a some form of office building. Lucius couldn't shake the feeling that he was being used as bait.

Thrax heard voices and he immediately crouched behind a stack of boxes. He closed his eyes and began to focus on the voices. "Did you here about the Imperial spy that they captured? Apparently, the Sith have received word about the Jedi in Cloud City. Anyways, we should head ba-" The soldiers words were cut off as Thrax began to choke him through the Force. The other soldier was about to fire at him, but the Zabrak sent a strong burst of air at him, sending him flying over the edge of the platform. Thrax could hear the bones in the man's neck began to crack and he felt his body go limp so he tossed him over the edge aswell. "It seems that they have located and captured Lucius. Continue with your specific orders, but if you find him, report it over the comlink."

By now, Iyezo was deep inside Cloud City. He was nearing a an intersection of the path way he was on and another running perpindicular to it, when he began to hear the faint thuds of foot steps. He could tell by the number thuds that their were at least six people.

Iyezo reached out with the force, he did not detect any force users. He got off the path and hid behind a building. The small troop of rebels turned on to the path he was on previously.

Rebel scum, he thought to himself. Iyezo let them pass, he then ignited his newly constructed dual bladed light saber, taking a moment to admire the crimson blades.

"You hear something," one of the rebels asked.

"No, you haven't had much rest lately, its probably just sleep deprivation," another rebel said.

Iyezo then jumped from his hiding spot, then dashed in between the rebels letting his light saber slice them all in two. "They didn't even have enough time two draw there blasters,"Iyezo chuckled. He then hid the bodies so any passers by wouldn't see them and sound an alarm.

[I'm fine with it. Go ahead and make a post about how you landed in Cloud City when you heard that there was a Jedi uprising. Try to make your posts detailed and atleast four or more sentences long. Proper grammar and punctuation is also key.]

After Iyezo's disposal of the six troops, Fien slowly walked out of the concealment of the shadows. Iyezo quickly drew his lightsaber when he sensed the his presence expecting a fight. " I do not wish to fight you " Fien says calmly. " I heard of an uprising on cloud city, so i came here to see what i could do to help". Iyezo responded, well maybe you could help me find Lucius". Fien said with a hint of hidden knowledge " Of course ".

As Iyezo and his older cousin Fien traveled deeper in to the city, they talked of their home world, Iridonia, and how Iyezo didn't remember much of it, because he was taken at such a young age.

They stopped at a closed cantina, "Do you sense it Fien," Iyezo asked,"Theirs a Jedi in there." The two sith Zabrak ignited their lightsabers and walked slowly in to the cantina. Their were about thirty rebels in the main room. They both used powerful force push taking out ten, then the rest reached for their blasters. The two sith began to block and reflect the rebels useless shots from their blasters. Then Iyezo let forth a surge of lightning from his hands. by then there were only two left in the main room. Iyezo lifted one off the ground, leaving the other for Fien to toy with. Iyezo lightly slamed the rebel in to the ground only causing minor injuries( fractured bones and what not) he laughed wikidley as he did, finally as Iyezo grew bored of the torture, he through his lightsaber impaling the rebel scum.

He looked over, Fien had sliced the other in to small round pieces."The Jedi is in there," Iyezo said motioning his head towards a door leading in to a small private v.i.p. room. The Jedi stood slowly igniting his single bladed blue lightsaber.

"Koh-to-yah," Iyezo said, sarcastically. Fien let forth a blast of lightning only to be blocked by the Jedi's saber. Taking this time advantage Iyezo sent a powerful force push towards the Jedi's middle. As he hit the wall Fien dashed forward and stabbed through his arm piercing through to the wall. The Jedi screamed in a terrible agony. Iyezo then shocked him briefly as Fien removed his lightsaber.

The Jedi staggered up and made a poor strike towards Fien. Iyezo then sliced the Jedi's arm off in mid strike. Fien turned and stabbed through his middle. Iyezo then ended his mizerey by cutting off his head.

"Jedi scum," Fien spat.

Vala landed her ship behind a tall building that was surrounded by a thick brick wall. Her ship fit perfectly behind it. The smoke coming from the factories turned the sky orange and the air smelled like burning rubber. Vala just had one thing on her mind... slaughtering Jedi.

She made her way up to the top of the building and surveyed the view. She spotted two Jedi patroling the area.

" We should have gotten some information on the whereabouts of Lucius before we killed them, acting to soon out of hate isn't the way to make a rescue ". Iyezo realizing the truth of Fien's words looked away in dissapointment. " I'm going to ask around to see if any of the people in the cantina know anything, i advise you to do the same. Fien and Iyezo separated and stated asking the customers in the cantina. Fien slowly walked to the bartender who clearly seen the entire battle, asked " I need some information ". The frightened bartender became to be calm as Fien's dominate mind affect started to set in. " All i know is that a sith apprentice was captured and taken prisoner, his cell is being guarded by two jedi and and some troops, but i don't have a clue as to where the cell is ". Fien frustratingly asked, " Is that all the information you have "? Quickly the bartender answered " Yes ". And in a flash second Fien slashed him as he ignited his blade in a vertical line from his head down.

" Iyezo , let's go. I have obtained some information, but not enough, let's just use the force and find him ".

The sky began to slow darken as the sun set behind Cloud City. The slight breeze seemed to cool down the Sith master as he continued his search for the Jedi behind the uprising. He had heard countless reports on Jedi sightings from the soldiers that had came to the city with him, but he had yet to find a single one. Then came a suprise.

As he rounded a corner, two Jedi were heading down the alley. They immediately stopped and turned to face him, obviously noticing his presence. Thrax exhaled forcefully and ignited his emerald blade, prepared for the duel. "We don't want to have to kill you, Sith, but we will if there is no other way to deal with the situation." As Thrax took a step closer they ignited their blue blades and one pulled out a comlink. "Master, a Sith is in the city. There may be others in the vicinity."

Thrax shook his head and his eyes began to turn a pale orange. He bared his teeth and then lunged forward. He blocked the first strike from the first Jedi then he quickly spun out of the way of the other Jedi's attack. He took a step back, ignited his other emerald blade and slashed downward with both blades on the first Jedi. He kicked the other Jedi back forcefully as he lunged at him and he continued to press his blades down harder. He sensed the other Jedi about to slash his back and he quickly backed away and crouched. In an instant, Thrax jabbed his blades into the stomach and chest of the Jedi and pulled them out. The Jedi slowly fell to the floor, but before his face hit the floor, Thrax used the Force to slam his body into the other Jedi. He immediately jumped in the air and stabbed through the body of the dead Jedi while the other Jedi was still under it. He exhaled forcefully once more and then threw the bodies over the edge of the platform, continuing his search for the main source of the uprising.
