The fear that began to overtake Roan because of his inexperience, gripped his heart. But a strong force of will pushed aside that fear, and gave him the strength to push off his left foot and dive right into his master, knocking them both to the ground. Roan used the Force to pull his lightsaber cane he had set on the wall to him, but knew that it wouldn't be near him in time to attack his master, so jumped to his feet and began to move back. Once, he felt the firm handle of his cane fall into his left hand and then grabbed it with his right, he turned and stared at his master.
The two only looked at each other for a brief moment, enough for Roan to compose himself. He knew that his master out-powered him in every aspect, so Roan decided to leave this fight to his one strength - raw strength. He had become very adept in the art of Djem So during his training, but he also knew that his master excelled at it as well. So, Roan knew he would have to remain on the offense, lest his master take control of the fight - but he also knew that his master could easily do that at any moment.
So, Roan lunged at his master, his green blade flying through the air beside him. He swung a powerful swipe at the mid-section of his master, but his master quickly eluded it with a Force jump, which caused Roan to see he was using the art of Ataru, which would prove very bad for anyone using Djem So. _________________ Under the Dark Patronage of Vergere
