OOC:

What kind of a training do you feel you need? More of an IC training, getting practice with RPing. Or more of an OOC tasks, getting used to the site, and grammatical stuff for RP's?

Also if you could just quickly go over the 5 Orders we have here (Military, Guards, Mages, Church, and Inquisitors) and get used to what each presents for its members and requires from its members. Then give me your top 3 choices and why.

Also, do you wish to focus on training in the Force or saber work?

OOC:

I think I have the workings of the site down pretty well, and I think my grammar is pretty good, so I think In-Character training would be best.

The three Orders I am most interested in are the Military, the Guard, and the Inquisitors.  I like the Military because of the rewards such as ships, earning a rank, and being on the front lines defending our Empire.  The Guard fascinates me with their duty to protect the Emperor and perform his wishes.  The Inquisitors are secretive and dangerous.  After looking over all those three, I'm most interested in the Military.  And having you as my Master would give me an amazing leg up.

Since I wish to join the Military, I think saber work would be most useful.

The Supreme Commander had barely had time to train an Apprentice these days, with all the consequences of Prognie's actions falling upon the Empire. But he still took it as a sacred duty to pass along the information that made the culture, heritage, history, knowledge, training, and life of a Sith unique.

So much to do, so little time to do it in, and now a new Apprentice on top of it all. He only hoped that the Apprentice was capable of following orders, and satisfied with a Spartan lifestyle for now, because the Supreme Commander would be spending very little of his time on a planet where he had a residence. Most of his time would be on board one Star Destroyer or another, traveling across the galaxy reviewing Military forces and fortifications on planets, as well as the CINC's (Commander in Chief) of the Sectors of space owned by the Empire.

It was during a visit to Kuat's shipyards that he finally met this new Apprentice of his. The High Council had made the decision, as the Supreme Commander had not been around to offer, but had merely notified the governing body of his willingness to train yet another in the way of the Sith.

He had two days before his shuttle departed from his Kuati Residence (Images: 1, 2, 3, 4). Two days of rest, that the High Commander had insisted he take on the oath that if Markaro did not rest, the High Commander would Court Martial him. It was an idle threat, but a gesture Markaro was glad for.

Sitting on a hoverchair out over the water that had been artificially placed around his mansion, along with the sand, trees, and grass, the Sith Lord was at peace with himself. Now just to wait for Colonel Ranov'la to return with his new apprentice. She had taken one of the newer Svelte-Class Imperial Shuttles that were beginning to replace the Lambda Shuttles, which had served long and well.

30 minutes later

"Supreme Commander," His commlink chirped from its charging dock on the hoverchair, "We're on our way from the Imperial District. ETA 5 minutes."

With a click to respond, Markaro Vos took off his shirt and sandals and dove from the chair into the water, its coolness refreshing his body.

Nolan sat nervously aboard the shuttle.  He knew of his Master by reputation only...and the fact that he was the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was not making Nolan any less nervous.  Finally, the shuttle loomed over a massive home with beautiful surroundings.  The shuttle landed and Nolan walked down the ramp into the bright sunlight, which stung his eyes.

He walked down a long path until he came to a pool with a man swimming in it.   He figured this must be his master, and stood by the pool silently.

The Supreme Commander felt his former apprentice return with his new apprentice, he could feel her presence, one as familiar to him as his own hand, a soothing presence in times of tension and stress. Having reached the edge of the swimming pool, he turned around, dove, and swam back to the entrance. Climbing up the marble steps, he obtained a towel with the Force.

He towered over the much younger human from Commenor, his newest mind to be molded and set on the path of the Sith. Toweling himself off, he headed into the house, motioning for the boy to follow.

"Your name." He stated, though it was a question. "Your age. Your height. Your main hand. Then show me your saber."

Nolan did exactly as his new master commanded, "Nolan Morgan.  Sixteen years.  Six feet, two inches.  Right.  And this is the lightsaber that belonged to my grandfather." he said as he unclipped the hilt off his belt and extended the hilt towards the Supreme Commander.  Nolan did not say anything else, he waited for his master to speak.

Lord Marix took the saber that Nolan handed him. Igniting it, a silver blade shot forth. He waved the blade in the air, testing its balance, as it hummed, vibrating the air molecules around it.

Markaro Vos waved his hand for Nolan to wait, and disappeared up a turbolift to his upper-story penthouse to change. Within five minutes he reappeared dressed in his normal attire. Marix was one of the few Sith to almost religiously wear protective clothing. The armor plates were taken from his Mandalorian Armor and placed on his upper arms and shoulders, upper and lower legs, as well as his chest. Underneath he wears a Cortosis-woven armor-protected long-sleeved shirt—over was merely a skintight synthetic black shirt—with matching armor-protected black pants. Hanging down to his Krayt-hide boots from his neck was a loosely fitted black cape, which furled out behind him as he walked. He was also fitted with his normal accompaniment of weapons and different items of a helpful nature.

Now suitably dressed for his departure and any surprises, he continued to lead his new Apprentice into the mansion. Stopping at yet another dead end, he activated a switch within the wall and a hidden turbolift was exposed by a moving wall panel. Stepping into it, with Nolan behind him, he brought his apprentice down into his lair.

He held out the silver saber and handed it back to the much younger Sith.

"Your Grandfather, was he Sith or Jedi?"

Nolan smiled slightly and said proudly, "Sith.  He died before I was born, in combat on Ziost.  My dad told me all about him, though.  He was in the Inquisitors, which is why there aren't many records of him."  Nolan noticed his master staring at him and he cursed his own foolishness.  He knew to answer only the question he was asked, but couldn't help talking about his grandfather.  His dad told him all the stories, and he was quite humbled to be taking up his grandpa's legacy.

"That is weird. You see, 10 years ago, I encountered a Jedi named Morgan here on Kuat. He had survived the Great Purge, and made his way to Kuat, where he got in the way of certain individuals that caused his eventual death at my hands."

He led Nolan to a shelf filled with artifacts from the long history of Force Sensitives. Picking the right shelf, he removed a cubic shaped object that had ancient glyphs of races unknown all over it. "This is a Jedi Holocron, belonging to the one named Morgan. Here, see if you can activate it."

Marix handed the holocron over to his Apprentice, watching as Nolans eyes went wide at the item of history before him.

Nolan held the holocron in his hands and stared at it for a few moments.  He wasn't very familiar with the technology, but he knew the basics of how to work one.  He looked back at his master and felt an odd sensation in his gut.  Lord Marix spoke of a Jedi with his name.  He did not know how many Force-sensitive Morgans there were in the universe.

He took the holocron and activated it.  The cube glowed and vibrated slightly in his hands.  The cube emitted magnificent blue light and then a figure appeared out of the top of the cube.  An elderly man appeared.  Nolan gasped slightly as he saw the elderly Jedi, for the Jedi's nose was shockingly like Nolan's father's...and he almost thought he could see the same blue eyes.  The Jedi looked at Marix and a voice echoed all around them, "Why do you summon me, Sith, I have told you-" and the voice cut off as the elderly Jedi saw Nolan.

Nolan hadn't moved a muscle or said a word since the figure appeared, and now the figure was staring back at him.  "Boy, what is your name?"  Nolan looked at his master, and Lord Marix simply stared back at him with no emotion on his face.  Nolan turned back to the Jedi figure and said, "Nolan Nathaniel Morgan."  From what Nolan could see of the hologram's face, it grew very angry.  The figure turned to Marix and shouted with an echoing roar, "You kill me...and now you take my grandson to do your bidding!  No more Morgans will lose themselves because of you!"  The whole room shook and the holocron vibrated so intensely that Nolan let go of it, but it floated in the air, "No more!  NO MORE!"

A brilliant light flashed with immense intensity, and Nolan barely made out a giant blue figure flying at him.  He saw his master grab the holocron, but it made no difference.  The blue figure of Nathaniel Morgan flew straight at his chest, and disappeared.  Nolan felt a terrible pain echo through every corner of his body...his blood felt like liquid carbonite and he could feel The Force leaving him slowly.  Out of the corner of his eye, Nolan saw a flash of a lightsaber plunge into the glowing cube.  Nolan felt the entire universe rock with a massive explosion, he flew backwards...and felt nothing.

Lord Marix felt rather than saw the destruction of the shelving around his lair, the countless artifacts and weapons falling to the floor. The explosion sent him flying away from Morgan's Holocron. Getting up, he headed towards the area where Nolan had landed.

Reaching out with the Force, he felt only a void. Nothing. He picked up the limp body and carried it up to the medical bay. There was still life within the boy, just not the Force.

Within a few hours the boy was conscious and eating.

"Have you used the Force before?"

Nolan groggily replied, "Once or twice accidentally, but I could feel things before I can't now.  I feel like I lost one of my senses."  The young man was sitting upright in a hospital bed, he had some cuts and bruises, but no serious injuries that were visible.  Nolan, however, feared the worst: he had lost his connection to the Force.

Reaching out with the Force, Lord Marix entered the mind of his apprentice, searching for a certain spot within his unconsciousness. Finding the nub he was looking for, he nudged it gently with the Force, but received no response.

"You have been stripped of the Force, Nolan. And because of that you can no longer be my Apprentice. I have nothing that I can teach you now that cannot be taught without an Apprenticeship. You have two days to search yourself and find your new future. During that time, I will offer my help during the times I would have been instructing you as my Apprentice. After those two days, you will have to leave, as I will be leaving at that time and you can no longer come with me, you are no longer covered by being my Apprentice, and I cannot bring you to the MAZ."

With that the Supreme Commander exited the room and left Nolan to his own thoughts and research. He would return in a few hours to follow up on the boy's progress of thought.

Nolan lay on the bed, emotions rolling around.  Anger.  Self-pity.  Fear.  Anger.  Nolan knew exactly what he wanted to do.  He would make them pay.  His grandfather was gone, but there were whispers of Jedi across the galaxy.  He would make them all pay, and he would stand next to his master as he did that.

The hours in which Markaro Vos was absent from the room passed quickly, and he soon returned, slightly disheveled from his own sparring session with Ranov'la to keep his wits and mind sharp.

"So, Nolan, what have you decided?" He asked the simple question.

Nolan sat up with resolve.  "I want to join the Military still, the Army specifically.  I want to hunt down every last Jedi like my grandfather and watch them die on the ground before me.  I swear to kill every last Jedi before my life ends."  Nolan said, his voice never breaking.
