Space. Seemingly endless and black, it was still harbouring millions upon millions of secrets, unknowns and questions. Although the Empire had created an Order, the Mages, to explore space and find these questions and to unravel these secrets, it would be almost impossible for every inch of space to have been explored. There would always be secrets, there would always be questions; for this was the way of life, a view held by many sentients. For millennia, the use of space had been discussed, began and improved, and indeed apart from the work of the Mages, was still evident as a small black shuttle shot through space. Destined for a large ship that had just come into its sight, this shuttle was being manned by a Corellian; a Corellian used to flying as her travels had taken her across the Galaxy. This Corellian, former apprentice to the Shadow Protector and former Grand Inquisitor, had been left without a Master for the second time in her apprenticeship. In light of this, she had requested her trials begin immediately. And this was the reason she was flying towards the now growing grey dot in front of her – she was to be given her trials by the Supreme Commander himself, Dark Lord Alor.
Upon reaching the craft, which she identified as a Star Destroyer, and after going through the docking formalities, Delora Tempest was greeted by a female Hapan. Concluding that she was a Sith and thereby most likely out-ranking her, Delora bowed her head slightly. “Good evening, Darth. My name is Delora Tempest and I have an appointment with the Supreme Commander. Which I’m sure you are already aware”, she added. Looking around the docking bay, Delora was impressed with the size of the vessel. Not only that, but it seemed perfectly equipped to win a space battle that may begin unexpectedly. “May I be so bold to ask the name of this fine vessel? I presume it is the Supreme Commander’s preferred transport vessel?” she asked curiously. Always asking questions, Delora had expressed interest in joining the Inquisitors. Indeed, just a few days previous she had received contact from the High Inquisitor himself, a Nautolan by the name of Gra’tua, that she had been preliminarily accepted into the Order and would be given her official acceptance upon her knighting. Snapping back to reality, such as it is, Delora awaited her greeter’s reply and, hopefully, guidance to her trials-master. _________________
