Jastin's errand

Darth Thrax had ordered Jastin to go pick up something in the city that he would use in his training, but he also gave him the rest of the day off so he could explore the sith academy and the city.Jastin decided to go to his quarters hoping the new robes he ordered had arrived, and there they were folded up nicely on his bed.I'll change before I go into the city because my robes got really messed up in my duel with Darth Rachk he thought.Jastin picked up a dark blue tunic, black pants and a black robe and changed into them.Jastin walked out of the room and noticed that his room was just down the hall from Thrax's chambers, walking down the hall he began to get hungry so he went to the mess hall of the academy.Alot of other apprentices were walking down the hall and he even saw some selonians and a beautiful twi'lek kinda looked at him as he was walking down the hall.Jastin saw the mess hall and got in line, the nikto who was working there was one of the ugliest nikto he had ever seen.The food however looked delicious so he got some and sat down at a table.Jastin looked at the tray wich contained nerf sausages and Ryshcate he had also gotten some Corellian Ale in a clean glass.

After eating the delicious meal that reminded him of home Jastin usedforce to bus his own tray then left the mess hall.Exiting the academy he looked up at the skies over kuat, it was a a beautiful day.He headed into the city and started toward the docking bay when he noticed some battle droids on the fritz, he kept walking until he felt something strange in the force.Ducking Jastin dodged a blaster bolt and turned around to see the battle droids wich had completely malfunctioned and started attacking everyone, he took out his sabers and ignited both blades.Jumping towards the droids, there were five in total he started blocking blaster bolts and used force lighting on two of the droids destroying them.Facing the remaining droids Jastin quickly sliced one in half.The remaining two droids he then stabbed with his two lightsabers leaving them as bits of scrap on the walkway.

Jastin was now at the landing pad looking at his stolen x-wing, it was painted green because it used to belong to corsec, he thought about painting it red and black but he would have to do that later.He climbed up the ladder and look in the cockpit, he thought to himself "I should make sure there's a field kit in there." and checked.Sure enough there was and it looked like it had been put in there not long before he had stolen the ship.Jastin hopped in the cockpit strapped himself in and started it up.Flying off of the landing pad he talked to his R-9 series astromech and told him to get the hyperspace coordinates set for Iridonia.He then flew out of the atmosphere and looked back at kuat."It's a really beautiful planet to have as the capital of the empire." he said to himself before engaging his hyperdrive engines.He watched as the stars started to look like lines and then a tunnel.It was a fairly long ride but he got there found a landing pad near the small settlement where the package was supposed to be, and began to land.

Just as he got out of his ship and put on his backpack that contained his field kit an extra set of clothes and a few other things he saw two huge zabrak walk towards him.He knew he'd seen them before but he was a little tired from the trip there so he couldn't remember their names.

Darth Rachk

The newly knighted Darth Rachk walked towards the human, acompanied by his younger cousin Fien'Dur, he recognized the human as his old masters new apprentice Jastin. He dueled Jastin only about a week ago, he seemed to have healed up just fine. As Darth Rachk and Fien got closer the R-9 unit dropped down from out of the astromech compartment just above the cabin of the X-Wing, and rolled over to its master and gave a long, nervous sounding whistle.

"What buisiness have you on Iridonia," Rachk asked in his calming smooth voice. It almost seemed a bit comical, bassed on his outer apearance most would expect a much more intimidating voice.

Jastin was surprised at the voice of the huge zabrak."I'm here because Darth Thrax told me to go to that settlement near here and pick something up."was Jastin's reply as he walked with the two zabrak away from his ship, his R-9 unit following him."Why are you here? I know it's your home planet, but I thought you two would be training on kuat."Jastin asked just as they stepped off the landing pad and he saw the terrain of the planet, he had heard that some of it was rocky with pools and oceans of acid, but that there were also some jungles.The settlement as well as the landing pad were in one of those jungles.Jastin thought"Now I know why the zabrak love their home so much, it's harsh but beautiful in some places."

Iyezo looked through the dense jungle, "Yes it is a beautiful home. Since I have been knighted, I train in my flat in Wortan, but that is not the reason for our presence now, the settlement of which you speak and several others have been taken over by rebels." Rachk Fien and Jastin walked down to three Razzalon FC-20 speeder bikes, one of which, was Rachk's own customized one, with the word eclipse in zabraki carved in to the side following the curve up the back of the bike, "We are commanding several squads of troops, to regain the lost settlements. Get on one of these speeders, follow Fien and I to the base of operations." Rachk said mounting his own bike.

Jastin hopped onto a speeder bike, remembering his childhood on Corellia and the fun he had racing speeder bikes there.He recklessly steered the speeder bike going as fast as he could while still letting Darth Rachk lead him there, dodging trees and large plants he followed the two zabrak to their base.When they got there the trio got off their speeder bikes and walked toward the base.It was a fairly large base that had apparently been there for a while.They were greeted by two troops guarding the front entrance.After they entered the base and went to the command center Jastin asked "So what do you need me for, I'm game for slaughtering rebels."

Darth Rachk

Rachk walked up to a small podium and said, "Rebels have taken over the settlements Kardiran, Kahmf, and Kopheth, they are all with in a ten kilometer radius of each other, so if any thing goes wrong, the other will not be, out of pocket, so to speak. There will be three squads: Epsilon, Iota, and Sigma. I will be leading Epsilon, Fien, you shall lead Sigma, and Jastin, you shall take Iota. We are fighting to take these settlements back, as little civilian death as possible. Are there any questions?"

Fien'Dur

After Darth Rachk's speech, Fien turned to face the squads. He walked over to the squad he was leading. Most of his squad were armed with E-11 Blaster rifles. There is one sniper in the squad. Everyone had a vibroblade with them for close combat fighting when they charge in to invade. A vast majority of them were looking a little scared and worried, Fien thought that was because of his appearance. But all round, his squad seemed prepared and ready to fight for their empire and win.

"I will lead you to the settlement. Our job is to take out opposing forces in the front line. Stealth and fear will be our allies in battle. Are you ready?" Fien shouted as he walked before his squad. He turned and ran towards the settlement, troops following behind him.

After they had traveled from the base to the settlement Jastin looked over his squad, they looked like they had seen a few skirmishes before but nothing this big.He decided that their plan would be to have some of the squad attack the front while he and the more skilled troops would come around from behind and take the settlement while the rest of the troops would be distracted.Jastin was a bit concerned about if the team creating the diversion would survive but then he realized something."The Reek." Jastin thought out loud, he wasn't sure if he would be able to but he gave it a try, spotting a herd nearby he commanded his men to stand back, reaching into the minds of the beasts he poked and prodded trying to anger the creatures.It worked they started charging toward the settlement.He was still far enough away from the creatures that he and his team were able to go around behind the settlement.

Iota team 1 were behind the herd of reek as they attacked the settlement providing the distraction they were originally meant to provide.Most of the rebel troops went to try and repel the attacking reek, while the Jedi stayed behind ordering them from their makeshift command center.Jastin and Iota team 2 activated their stealth field generators and snuck into the settlement."This is going perfectly" he thought "too perfectly."

Darth Rachk

Rachk sped towards Kardiran on his speeder The Eclipse, followed by Epsilon squad on stock BARC-speeders. He maneuvered quickly through the temperate rain forest. Kardiran was the farthest away at thirty kilometers from the base of operations,and the largest. As they got farther along, the trees started to clear, and turn in to grasslands. As they exited the jungle, Rachk reared back on the throttle. Going at top speed it would only be a few minutes at most, before they reached the settlement.

Before departure Darth Rachk told his soldiers, they were to split in to two teams. Team one would follow Rachk in to the settlement speeding through and pick of soldiers with their lasers. Team two would circle the camp and pick off any one that might try to escape, excluding any of the native Zabrak.

The settlement was getting larger and larger, and then Rachk found him self in the edge of the settlement. Here he leaned forward, propelling him off the bike while in the air he pressed a button on his wrist controls that he had created for his bike, and The Eclipse made a u-turn and retreated to safety. He landed in a town square, where there were quite a few soldiers. "SITH" he heard one shout.

He drew his blade, and began flourishing it redirecting the blaster bolts that were now coming at him from all angles. Then team one came speeding through the street Rachk had taken, lasers then flew from be hind Rachk killing many of the soldiers that had been shooting at him. They sped past continuing their first pass. He then walked briskly up to one of the soldiers, sliced his blaster, then him in half. He leaped over another, landing behind him, slicing him down the middle as he did.

Jastin wondered how his fellow sith were doing as he and Iota team 2 made their way through the settlement, he soon saw one of the ships the rebels had arrived in, a Correlian action VI freighter that had been fitted with weapons for fighting small space battles.Jastin pointed to one of his men and quietly said "I want you to find out if there are any troops on that ship stay undetected and contact me over the comlink once you find out." he and the rest of his men continued towards the building the rebels were using as their base, quietly sneaking up behind the one guard and holding one of his sabers right behind the man's back before igniting it killing the soldier, Jastin caught his body before it made any noise and lowered it carefully to the ground.He decided to see if he could sense anyone on the other side of the door.He sensed six people on the other side and told his men before using the key he had gotten off the guard's body to open the door.

His men charged in firing at the rebels quickly dispatching four of them, he assumed his men could kill six rebels caught off guard so he was very surprised when he saw a head roll past him."Jedi" said Jastin under his breath before igniting his twin emerald blades and stepping through the door.What he saw before him surprised him, two Jedi were standing there one wielding a yellow saber and the other wielding a blue one.Apparently the one with the blue saber was a master and the other one was his apprentice.

Jastin went into a makashi stance and attacked pushing them with the force, he managed to knock the weak apprentice down but was unable to do the same to the master.He took the chance to jump onto the apprentice first slicing his hand off the stabbing him through the chest burning through the durasteel floor as well."Noooooo." cried the master seeing his apprentice dead on the floor before charging towards Jastin slashing at him with his lightsaber.Jastin parried the attack and they went about in a dance of attacking and parrying."Don't do this" said the jedi master "turn away from the dark side." Jastin replied "Don't give me that old man, the power of the dark side is greater than you could imagaine." before shooting lighting from his fingertips at the Jedi master who blocked it with his lightsaber and at the same time used the force to pull one of Jastin's sabers from his hand and throw it across the room.

Jastin just said "That was a mistake old man." then immediately charged at him while using the force to ignite his other lightsaber and pull it towards the jedi master so that it would stab him.The Jedi was fast enough to block it, but not fast enough to block Jastin who was attacking him from the front.Jastin decapitated the Jedi and picked up his saber as well as the Jedi and his apprentice's sabers.

"Jastin the ship didn't have anyone on it." said one of his men over the comlink." Jastin replied "Ok, thanks stay there I'm going to see how the other battle went." Jastin then contacted the leader of Iota team 1 and said "How did the battle go?" he then heard over the comlink "Yes, things are going great the herd of reek really caught the rebels off guard and we managed defeat them."

Jastin then ordered his remaining men back to the base, so Jastin and them hopped on their speeder bikes and raced there.Jastin loved the feel of the wind in his hair and the speed, watching the ground go by so fast was almost hypnotic.When they arrived he parked his bike then entered the base making his way back to the command center where he would wait for Darth Rachk and Fien'Dur.

Jastin grew tired and bored waiting for Darth Rachk and Fien'Dur so he decided to take apart the lightsabers he had gotten from the Jedi. He found a workbench and chose to make a new saber, he removed the power cell,focusing lens and crystals from the two sabers before he began work constructing a new hilt. When he was ready he looked over the parts, hmm an Ossus dueling lens and a beamgem lens.He chose to use the Ossus dueling lens in this saber as well. He then looked at the crystals, the Jedi had a fair selection of crystals.They had sigil,lorrdian,jenruax and pontite.He chose to use the sigil and jenruax crystals as well as the yellow crystal from the apprentice's saber.

Carefully installing the crystals he closed up the hilt of the saber and thumbed it on. Jastin smiled when he heard the snap hiss of the blade, then immediately got back to work making it dual-phase and giving it a magnatomic adhesion grip so that it couldn't be pulled out of his hand. He put it on his belt and then went back to the command center thinking "This will definitely be the saber I use when I join the military."((Also I thought I should let you guys know I'm leaving this Thursday and I won't be back till next wednesday wich is why I posted this now instead of later))

Darth Rachk

[sorry Ive been taking so long]

The two halves stood for a second before falling to the ground. The square Darth Rachk was currently in had become abandoned. One of the troops must have escaped, for as he strolled in to themiddle of the street, he caught a glimpse of two jedi rushing towards him. He chuckled slightly before removing his outer cloak, revealing his wicked body armor. The jedi were now upon him. One was an older twi'lek male, his red skin identified him as the lethan sect, the other was a younger togruta male. They attacked from opposite directions, and were both easily blocked. The twi'leks blade was a veridian color, and the togrutas blade was a deep violet.

"Leave this place sith," the togruta said.

"Leave? THIS IS MY HOME," Darth Rachk shouted, "YOU ARE TAKING AWAY THE HOMES OF ZABRAK FAMILIES" Rachk smiled evily, "and for that...you shall die." With that he disappeared, he rematerialized behind the togruta, and stabbed through the back of his neck.

The twi'lek cried out in the pain of seeing his companion cut down. He then let loose a mindless flurry of attacks, in a blind rage. Tears were welling up in his eyes. With every attack, he became more engrossed in sorrow, and began to falter. It became quite redundant after a while, then Rachk finally decided to end this, with one swift cut he sliced the jedi at the waiste, then spun around and beheaded him. The twi'lek fell to the ground, his leku twitched there, even though they had been seperated from the head.

"Epsilon one, status report"

"This is team leader, we are clear, we have made three runs through the settlement, and are on our fourth, the rebels have been cleared."

"Epsilon two, report."

" We have had zero casualties, no rebels have broken our perimeter"

Darth Rachk walked over to where his cloak was lieing, and shrouded himself inside. He pushed a button on his wrist and with in a few moments his speeder was at his side. " Epsilon one and two, clean up the bodies, then meet me back at base." He then mounted his speeder, and left for base, eager to see how Jastin had done.

Jastin saw a proud victorious zabrak riding a speeder towards the base, and went out to greet him. Jastin said "Greetings Darth Rachk I assume the battle went well, also I found one of their ships back there maybe we should give it to the Sith Navy." as he walked out to the speeder bikes, his cloak swaying in a light breeze revealing his newly built lightsaber.

Fien'Dur

Fien lead his squadron to the Kahmf settlement to reclaim it. Fien had taken a stealthy approach, following through thick jungles and moving discretely. Once Fien had gotten to an area where the settlement was about a kilometer away, Fien used the force to search for enemy snipers located anywhere near their designated location. The area was clear of snipers, but several rebels were mounted on bike speeders, and about 7 armed troops with blaster pistols guarded a door to the inside of the settlement.

Fien led his troops within firing range and told them to conceal themselves. Fien leap out and ignited his lightsaber in mid air, and slashed down a mounted rebel on his bike and force pushed a few others off of theirs. Fien told his troops not to open fire unless absolutely necessary, he would do the work. Fien flipped in the air and deflected a blaster bolt into the face of the shooter and spun, taking down two others. Fien made a vertical slash upwards dropping another rebel and turned facing the two other ground troops, paralyzing them with his deadly sight. Fien sauntered over to the incapacitated rebels and be-headed them with ease. Fien flourished his double bladed lightsaber in the moment and quickly met eyes with the four other rebel troops that had been mounted on their bikes. One jumped on his and sped off, but not before he was shot down by Fien's squad. "Drop your weapons, or face the inevitable consequences," Fien said as the remaining rebels realized they were outnumbered. The rebel troops were hesitant, but surrendered their weapons in a disdainful manner. Fien laughed wickedly knowing he had struck immense fear into the troops as he laughed, and sliced them down with satisfaction and enjoyment. "Dispose of the bodies and prepare yourself for whatever lies ahead men."

Fien walked through the doors and noticed a few dead Zabrak bodies lying there in combat armor, as if they died fighting. Fien looked up into the eyes of a human female jedi. She flourished two blades, both had a different color, one was purple and another was yellow and took a stance. Fien stared menacingly into her eyes and slowly reached for his lightsaber, he ignited them one after another and waited for her to make the first move on him. She flipped forward making a downward strike with both of her blades, Fien blocked both and kneed her in the gut as a result of her not being protected at the moment. Fien sent a flurry of attacks and his power grew with each strike. She stumbled on a dead body of a fallen Zabrak as Fien pushed her back with his onslaught, and she fell over losing her purple blade. Fien pulled the blade towards his stretched hand and cut it in half as it flew towards him. Fien was now in a convenient position and he was still full of hate at the realization that a human had killed his species. Fien roared with the force, his force scream was now more powerful, he had noticed, the scream reverberated and echoed through the building, making the human jedi clutch her ears. Fien sent a downward strike at the helpless female and finished her off.

Fien walked out through the other end and into the streets and raised his comlink to his lips signaling Rachk, "I have completed my job, where are you now?"

Jastin said to Darth Rachk " I'm going to Kardiran to pick up that package now, but if you want to come with me just tell me over the comlink and I'll wait in front of the settlement." just before he heard Darth Rachk's comlink beep and saw him answer it. Jastin decided he could ask who it was later and made his way outside the base his cloak flowing as he took long strides over the durasteel floor. Once he had gotten out he looked over the bikes and picked the Razzalon FC-20 speeder bike he had ridden to the base. He turned on the bike and sped towards the settlement wind blowing through his hair, he felt so free whenever he was riding a speeder bike or flying a ship.

Jastin finally arrived at the settlement and decided to wait in front of it. He found a bench sat down and began fiddling with his new saber testing the magnatomic adhesion grip and making sure the dual-phase switch worked properly.

Darth Rachk

Darth Rachk, responded to Fien'Dur, telling him of there location. He would have liked for Fien to return promptly, but his decision of making the trek to his assigned settlement on foot made that impossible. He walked over to the holomap in the center of the room, and sat in a rikidy old chair. He gazed at the readout, and the blinking red dot at Kardiran. He planted his elbows on his thy's and brought his hands up to his face. He had been informed by Darth Thrax of the "package" for Jastin. He did want to go, but was it worth it, putting the fate of his life in the hands of an apprentice. Thrax had confidence in him, but Rachk remained wary. He decided he would wait for Jastin at the base. He walked outside to his speeder The Eclipse. He raised his leg, and sat on the bike. He heard the rumble of approaching speeders. He reached out with the force, expecting to find his soldiers returning from clean up. He cursed aloud as he found it was a large group of rebel soldiers. "RAISE THE SHIELDS, MAN THE TURRETS!" Transmitter beeped rapidly. He withdrew it, and an image of one of his sentries appeared.

"Sire, I'm sorry, we couldn't stop them. There were too many." He was badly injured.

"I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR APOLOGIES, IF YOU ARE NOT DEAD BY THE TIME THIS ORDEAL IS OVER, I SHALL MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE!" Darth Rachk placed the transmitter back inside his robes. He then dismounted his bike and walked to the edge of the shield, he drew his lightsaber, and readied himself for the battle that was to ensue.

After waiting a while Jastin assumed Darth Rachk didn't want to come with him so he got up and asked one of the people near the gate for directions. The zabrak replied " Keep going until you get to the square then take a right and it'll be the one next to the cantina with the big red sign, you can't miss it." Jastin thanked the man and made his way to the shop along the way knocking on doors telling the zabrak families who were barricaded in their homes that it was now safe.

When he finally arrived at the shop he walked through the door into a dimly lit room with alot of defunct droids and old weapons from the clone wars lying around. "I'm surprised the rebels didn't break into this place for the weapons." Jastin said to himself. "If they had tried I would have blasted them with so many holes they would have wished they'd never walked into this place" said the zabrak behind the counter, he continued "so why are you here?". Jastin told him he was here to pick up a package ordered by Darth Thrax and the zabrak quickly pulled out a black box and pressed a button on a remote causing the box to beep before handing it to Jastin. Jastin gave him the credits and strode out the door wondering what was in the box and how Darth Rachk was doing.

Fien ordered his squad to stay, and guard the Kahmf settlement while he met up with Jastin and Rachk at the rendezvous point. He mounted a speeder bike that belonged to one of the rebel troopers, before they met their demise by Fien's lightsaber. Fien started up the bike and sped off towards Kardiran, eager to get the latest report on what's happening.

Fien arrived at the base, and signaled Rachk, to get his coordinates. He was in a battle and Fien was trying to get there as quickly as possible. Fien locked in the coordinates and began treading through the city in search of Rachk and Jastin. After a few minutes of running, he spotted Rachk standing there, defending himself against blaster fire and rebel troops.

Fien darted toward the battle, and ignited his double bladed lightsaber, and slashed down multiple troops because of their undivided attention, drawn on Rachk. They lacked the knowledge of Fien's presence in the battle, and were easily disposed of by the Zabrak. Some of the rebels redirected their attention to Fien as he cut his way through the main line of troops. Rachk was dashing through blaster fire, getting closer to the battle to end the rebels pathetic lives with Fien. Rachk's turrets were now firing at rebels, mounted on land speeders, making their way to battle. Fien decapitated a rebel that was in close range with a blaster rifle as he turned, and screamed, as he seen the Zabrak swing his red blade at his face. Fien jumped and spun in an intricate pattern that sliced three troops simultaneously. Rachk was now in the battle, killing off the front line.

Jastin was still wondering what was in the box when he heard distant fire in the background. He ran towards the noise to see what it was, Jastin saw Darth Rachk and Fien'Dur fighting off rebel troops. Suddenly Jastin heard a strange noise come from the box, and he just had to know what was in it so he stretched out with the force and felt for what was in the box. Jastin was alarmed to sense a permacrete detonator on a timer, the detonator only had three minutes on it so he had to act fast. Jastin ran through the rebels defending himself till he got to the center of their ranks, and then he yelled to Darth Rachk and Fien'Dur to get out of the way before he used the force to jump away from the box. As soon as Jastin got away he turned around to see a large explosion causing confusion for the rebels who remained. Jastin located his two allies and ran towards them.

Darth Rachk

Rachk, now enraged, let out a powerful force scream, more powerful than the bellowing force roar that Fien had used on him in their dual. Instead of causing structural damage, as the roar would, the sonic frequency shattered ear drums, of the rebel soldiers. The now stunned soldiers were, now easily disposable, Rachk and Fien then cut down, the brunt of the rebel squadron, assisted by the back fire given by the Empirical forces.

((It's been a long time since Darth Rachk or Fien'Dur have posted so I'm going to end the roleplay with this post.)) Jastin had to cover his ears because of Darth Rachk's force scream, and then began attacking the rebel troops who were speedily decreasing in number. Hacking through them in a rage drunk on the blood of his victims he killed them one by one until there was only one left. He turned to Fien'Dur and Darth Rachk telling them not to kill this one before he had a chance to toy with him. "R-9 set the hyperspace coordinates for Kuat while I get the ship into orbit." he said before retracting the landing gear and flying out of the atmosphere. Jastin then activated the hyperdrive and watched while the starscape turned into lines and then a tunnel of blue around the ship.
