I wasn't exactly sure of your intent to cause insult or not, so i apologize for being confrontational. 1.) I wasn't aware of your knowledge of me being from Oklahoma or not. 2.) An "Okie" is someone from Oklahoma that possesses a southern accent, hailing from Oklahoma. 3.) It seemed like you were giving me a hick accent by saying the word "ain't". 4.)A hick accent is southern speak. 5.) Tupac Shakur said "ain't" and he was a rappa from de ghetto. Several characters in the musical my school is doing say "ain't", one's a New Yorker, two are Italian immigrants, one's from Seattle and the other is from California. "Ain't" ain't any more a staple of "hick" speak than any other accent. _________________ If you see dreadlocks and a staff coming towards you very rapidly, you're in trouble.
